Frequently asked questions

What customers ask before booking.

Why is network-cabling pricing site-specific?

Cable length, pathway, ceiling type, conduit and access equipment can change the work substantially. We review those conditions before giving a written quote.

Do you terminate and test Cat6 cable?

Yes. New runs are terminated, labelled and tested as part of the agreed scope.

Can one Cat6 cable power a security camera?

A compatible PoE switch or NVR can send data and low-voltage power over one Ethernet cable to a compatible IP camera.
